Job Title: Shrewsbury Financial Manager

Salary: Circa £40,000 per annum DOE

Working Hours: Monday-Friday 9.00am-5.30pm, 37.5 hours per week

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Shrewsbury Financial Manager to oversee the financial operations of our client's business, ensuring effective management of finances and supporting strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development of budgets and forecasts to guide business decisions
  • Preparation and submission of year-end financial accounts for compliance
  • Collaboration with auditors to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Submission of VAT returns and management of related paperwork
  • Accurate record keeping of financial transactions and maintenance of ledgers
  • Monitoring of income and reconciliation of payments
  • Effective allocation of charges to respective units
  • Management of income and expenditure to optimize financial performance
