About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Strategy and Customer Engagement Leader to join our UKI IFP organisation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining and executing our sustainability agenda, ensuring our brands are first choice for consumers, customers, and the planet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive UKI thought leadership, drawing best practice from external sources and other markets.
  • Keep abreast with legislation, trends, and key competitor actions.
  • Develop UKI Sustainability Strategy as part of SBP, delivering against consumer needs and KC corporate targets.
  • Visualise strategy and create compelling stories to bring it to life.
  • Embed our strategy internally, ensuring everyone can confidently talk our sustainability story.
  • Engage and inspire key customers, building strategic partnerships at senior levels.
  • Work with relevant cross-functional teams to shape the plan, develop initiatives, and deliver against strategic commitments.

What You Will Bring

  • You are a champion and subject matter expert for sustainability.
  • You are experienced in defining and executing strategy, with a bias towards taking action and driving impact.
  • You are results-oriented, with an inquisitive mindset, challenging the status quo and creative in validating new ideas.
  • You are comfortable working in a dynamic environment and adapting quickly to change.
  • You have excellent leadership and relationship-building skills.
  • You are an excellent communicator and storyteller, able to effectively communicate concepts and ideas to stakeholders at all levels.
  • You will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of delivering results within FMCG and working within matrix organisations.
  • You will be a highly competent user of Microsoft office tools, specifically MS Excel and PowerPoint.
