About the Job

Link 3 Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 2 qualified Nursery Assistant to join our team in a dynamic and supportive environment.

This Level 2 Nursery Assistant role is a full-time, permanent position that requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide exceptional care and education to children, promoting their learning and development in a safe and inclusive environment.
  2. Plan and implement engaging activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of children.
  3. Monitor and record children's progress, ensuring individual needs are met and progress is tracked.
  4. Collaborate with other nursery staff to deliver excellent childcare and achieve shared goals.
  5. Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing regular updates on their child's progress and involving them in decision-making processes.
  6. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in early childhood education.

Requirements:

  1. Level 2 Certificate in Childcare and Education (or equivalent)
  2. Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and its application in practice.
  3. Compassionate, patient, and nurturing attitude towards children, with a commitment to safeguarding and promoting their welfare.
  4. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
