About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Years SEN Teacher to join our vibrant and inclusive school in Wandsworth. As an integral member of our team, you will work with a mixed ability class of 8-10 students, all exhibiting special educational needs.

Your focus will be on creating a safe, caring, and welcoming atmosphere to foster independent learning and support the development of each child. You will have the opportunity to work in a well-resourced environment, with a strong emphasis on celebrating achievements and building pupil confidence and self-belief.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a tailored curriculum to meet the needs of each child.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide a supportive community where collaboration and respect are paramount.
  • Develop and deliver resources and training focused on addressing Speech, Language, and Communication Difficulties.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A 2:1 or first-class degree from a top university.
  • At least two years of experience in an SEN setting, specifically with primary-aged students.
