Responsibilities
  • Commission and test lighting control and emergency systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality results.
  • Diagnose and rectify issues with installed lighting systems, providing expert technical support.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation on commissioning and rectification work.
  • Adhere to company quality control guidelines and Health and Safety Policy.
  • Occasionally work on-site, potentially overnight, to ensure project success.
Requirements
  • Full UK driving license is essential.
  • City and Guilds level 2 Electrical installations or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of the lighting industry and electrical installations is advantageous.
  • Polite and confident communication skills, particularly over the phone.
  • IPAF certification is preferred, with training and qualification provided if necessary.
  • CSCS certification will be obtained through company-provided training.

This is a full-time position, working 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, with some out-of-hours work required.
