Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our client's team as an Accounts Assistant. As a key member of the accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, monitoring financial performance, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day bookkeeping duties, including reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Monitor financial reports and forecasts to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Reconcile financial statements and tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist with payroll processing and other administrative tasks as required.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • AAT or accounting/finance degree.
  • Previous experience in accounting assistant or admin roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
