Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Paediatrician to join our team at NELFT. As a Consultant Paediatrician, you will be responsible for providing senior medical support and guidance to our multidisciplinary teams, working with babies, children, and young people across Barking & Dagenham.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide care to babies, children, and young people.
  • Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team.
  • Work directly with babies, children, and young people, and their families.
  • Participate in the local Child Protection rota.
  • Commit to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals, and agencies.
Requirements
  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practice.
  • CCT or equivalent.
  • Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST.
  • At least 2 years' experience in Community Child Health.
