About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatrician to join our team as a Community Consultant with a focus on Child Health and Wellbeing. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to children and young people in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team
  • Work directly with children and young people, and their families, to provide comprehensive medical care
  • Participate in the local Child Protection rota
  • Support your peers and team leader, and be an effective team member
  • Work collaboratively with other health and social professionals, and agencies, to provide seamless care to our patients
Requirements
  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
  • CCT or equivalent
  • Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST
  • At least 2 years' experience in Community Child Health
