We are seeking an exceptional Digital Transformation Leader to join our team at the BBC. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in driving the digital transformation of our news division.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital strategy to drive growth and innovation in our news division.
  • Provide creative leadership and editorial vision to enhance the strength, depth, range, and quality of our digital output.
  • Lead a team of journalists, production, and support staff, including their training, development, and wellbeing.
  • Manage significant budgets and understand key financial drivers.
  • Guard the BBC's journalistic and editorial standards, support the BBC brand, and enhance reach, reputation, and impact.

Requirements

  • Expertise in digital transformation and innovation.
  • Proven track record of driving growth and innovation in a digital context.
