Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Directorate Support Coordinator. This exciting opportunity is based in the Urology Directorate within Cardiff and Vale University Health Board, one of the largest Integrated Health Boards in the UK.

The successful candidate will support the Specialty Manager in the operational management of the Urology Directorate, working on a reactive basis to meet the needs of the department. The role involves performing designated activities and tasks that contribute to UHW wide service objectives.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the Specialty Manager in the day-to-day management of the Urology Directorate
  • Perform administrative duties such as staff attendance, supervision, and record-keeping
  • Manage rota schedules and ensure effective communication with staff
  • Handle sensitive clinical information and maintain confidentiality
  • Work towards Welsh Government targets, including RTT and SCP
  • Contribute to service improvement initiatives and projects

Requirements

Salary: £28,000 - £33,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
