Academic Leadership Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide academic leadership for the Faculty of Education, working closely with the Academic Dean to develop and implement strategic plans.
  • Lead the School of Education to achieve ambitious student engagement targets, maintain high academic standards, and deliver innovative program content.
  • Support the Faculty's research agenda, ensuring alignment with the University's strategy and promoting interdisciplinary and work-integrated learning.
  • Develop and implement effective leadership strategies to guide academic teams to reach their full potential.
Requirements:
  • Postgraduate qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Substantial leadership experience in higher education and teacher training programs.
  • Deep understanding of the higher education landscape, both in the UK and internationally.
  • Proven record of successful Ofsted inspections and accreditation processes with the DfE.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusivity.
Desirable:
  • Experience in international partnerships and teacher training.
