About the Role

As a senior academic leader, you will be responsible for providing academic leadership for the Faculty, working closely with the Academic Dean to achieve our strategic objectives. You will lead the School of Education to meet ambitious student engagement targets, maintain high academic standards, and deliver innovative program content, including interdisciplinary and work-integrated learning. Additionally, you will support the Faculty's research agenda, ensuring it aligns with the University's strategy. Your leadership will help guide academic teams to reach their full potential, while promoting the School both internally and externally.

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced academic leader with a postgraduate qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). You will have a deep understanding of the higher education landscape, both in the UK and internationally, and have demonstrated expertise in managing people and financial resources. A proven record of successful Ofsted inspections and accreditation processes with the DfE is essential. Your strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, along with a commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusivity, will be crucial in driving the School of Education forward. Experience in international partnerships and teacher training is a desirable advantage.
