Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Neurodisability team at Clatterbridge Rehabilitation Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients with complex needs, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.


Main Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of patients, providing individualized care plans and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Provide expert nursing care to patients with neurological conditions, including stroke rehabilitation and neurodisability.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based practice guidelines and protocols.

Requirements
  • 1st Level NMC Registration
  • Evidence of Professional Development
  • Relevant clinical knowledge and experience in neurodisability and stroke rehabilitation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable
  • Act as a practice supervisor
  • Willingness to undertake Practice Assessor Training
  • Relevant Degree or willingness to register to work towards degree

Knowledge and Skills
  • Awareness of evidence-based practice
  • Good organisational/time management skills
  • Ability to deal with an acute workload
  • Good communication skills written and verbal
