Job Title: Employment Law Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Employment Law Specialist to join our team at Pertemps Leicester. As an Employment Law Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on employment law and HR matters to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the first point of contact for clients, providing telephone and email advice on employment law matters.
  • Advise clients on complex employment law and HR issues, including redundancies, disciplinary procedures, and TUPE transfers.
  • Work effectively with our consultancy, advice line, and business development teams to support consistent delivery to clients.
  • Effectively manage a small client bank within agreed service levels.
  • Draft topical articles for publication on our website and other social media platforms.
  • Support our out-of-hours service, providing 24/7 telephone cover on a rota.
Requirements:
  • Qualified or working towards Level 5 (desirable).
  • Generalist HR experience dealing with complex employment law and HR cases.
  • Experience of drafting and advising on HR processes, policies, and procedures, and up-to-date knowledge of employment law and case law.
  • Experience of working as an HR advisor and to deadlines in a pressurized environment.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, and on own initiative and autonomously.
  • IT skills, including a working knowledge of Windows (Word, Outlook, and Excel).
  • Driving license and use of own vehicle (desirable).
