Parking Enforcement Officer
Triumph Consultants Ltd is seeking two temporary civil enforcement officers to provide frontline inspection and enforcement functions covering off-street parking operations in the local area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular patrols of streets and car parks to ensure compliance with parking regulations.
  • Inspect parking meters and car park equipment to identify any defects or issues.
  • Report defective signs and road markings to the relevant authorities.
  • Check parking tickets and issue Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) as necessary.
  • Provide advice to the public on parking regulations and assist with any queries they may have.

Requirements:
  • City and Guilds Level 2 Award for Parking Enforcement Officers or equivalent qualification.
  • Knowledge of the Traffic Management Act 2004.
  • Considerable experience working with the general public in situations of possible conflict.
  • Good communication skills, including a good standard of English reading and writing skills.
  • IT skills, ability to operate handheld computer and printers.
  • Ability to walk several miles while working each day.
  • Ability to write clear, concise reports.

Working Conditions:

The role is based locally and will involve working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The duration of the assignment is three months.

The pay rate for this role is up to £14.00 per hour, paid through PAYE on a daily rate.

A basic DBS disclosure is required for this role.

The estimated annual salary for this position is £9,624 - £14,000 pro-rata, depending on experience.
