We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated midwife to join our team as a Midwife Care Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a semi-rural setting in Yorkshire, providing high-quality holistic care to service users and their families.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will provide sensitive and individualized care to women and their families during the antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal periods. They will also participate in education, training, and dissemination of professional and clinical knowledge to colleagues and student midwives.
Main Responsibilities:
- To assess women's needs, plan, implement, and evaluate care on an individual basis.
- To maintain contemporaneous, accurate, and precise documentation relating to patient care in accordance with NMC rules.
- To work within national and local guidelines relating to midwifery practice.
- Maintain clear, unbiased communication with women and their families and all other professionals involved in care.
- To be involved in quality assurance and clinical audit.
- To be involved in midwifery research making efforts to improve care.
- To liaise with other professional groups and provide advice as necessary and assist in the provision of a multi-disciplinary approach to care, co-ordinating all aspects of care in the best interests of the mothers and their babies.
