Health Care Assistant

">">About the Role:">
  • To provide high-quality, person-centered care for patients and their families in a hospital setting.
  • To assist in all aspects of direct personal care for patients/clients and carry out other assigned tasks in support of and supervised by a Registered Nurse or Midwife.
">Key Responsibilities:">
  1. Follow the agreed plan of care.
  2. Respect people's dignity, wishes & beliefs & obtain their consent for treatment.
  3. Assist with the care of patients' clothing, laundry, lockers & wardrobes.
  4. Assist in the preparation & serving of meals & beverages for patients.
  5. Maintain high standards of practice at all times.
">Requirements:">
  • Holds an NVQ Level 2 Care Award or equivalent.
  • Is willing to complete an Enhanced Access NI Check.
