Care Assistant Specialist

Job Summary: As a Care Assistant Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality person-centered care to patients and their families. Your duties will include assisting with direct personal care, carrying out assigned tasks under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Midwife, and following the agreed plan of care. You will respect patients' dignity, wishes, and beliefs, obtaining their consent for treatment as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the care of patients' clothing, laundry, lockers, and wardrobes.
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals and beverages for patients.
- Record and report care activities undertaken accurately to the nurse-in-charge.
Essential Criteria:
- Hold an NVQ Level 2 Care Award or equivalent qualification.
- Be willing to complete an Enhanced Access NI Check.

- A competitive salary of £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
