Job Description

Resourcery Group is seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Accountant to join their UK head office. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and other regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Data Analysis: Analyze financial data and provide insights to support effective decision-making.
  • Collaboration with Auditors: Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate the auditing process.
  • Financial Reporting Systems: Assist in the implementation and maintenance of financial reporting systems.
  • Accounting Standards: Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and ensure compliance.
  • Financial Data Gathering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and ensure accuracy of reporting.
  • Financial Statement Review: Review and analyze financial statements to identify variances and provide explanations.
  • Supporting Schedules: Prepare supporting schedules and disclosures for financial statements.
  • Process Improvement: Participate in the development and improvement of financial reporting processes.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate with internal stakeholders and support them with financial information.
Candidate Profile
  • Qualifications: ACA/ACCA Qualified – ideally Audit trained.
  • Experience: Proven experience in financial reporting, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial reporting software and ERP systems.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
