Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook hot and cold meals for residents, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
- Assist in planning seasonal menus that cater to the diverse tastes and requirements of our residents.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure regulatory requirements are met, such as recording fridge temperatures.
- Report any accidents or incidents to the Person-in-Charge of the home.
- Right to live and work in the UK.
- Previous experience in a similar role and setting, such as a care home or school.
- Certificate Level II in Food Safety and Hygiene.
- Knowledge of nutritional needs of older people.
- Health and Safety and regulatory requirements.
- A positive and flexible attitude towards work and the ability to work well in a team.
