About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Chef to join our team at Kingfisher Nursing Home, a leading provider of care services in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook hot and cold meals for residents, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
- Assist in planning seasonal menus and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, including washing and clearing equipment.
- Report any accidents or incidents to the Person-in-Charge of the home.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A Certificate Level II in Food Safety and Hygiene.Previous experience in a similar role and setting, such as a care home or school.Knowledge of nutritional needs of older people and health and safety regulations.A positive and flexible attitude towards work and the ability to work well in a team.What We Offer:
