**Job Title:** AESA CDT Lead
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced and skilled AESA CDT Lead to join our team at Leonardo. The successful candidate will be responsible for leadership and management of the AESA CDT in developments ranging in scope from front-end chipset designs to full LRI level solutions.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Management of the multi-disciplinary AESA CDT in the delivery of engineering solutions on time, to cost and performance.
- Develop and maintain relationships with the CTO and capability function and work to develop the strategy for antenna technology development.
- Identify opportunities to develop technologies and people to maintain our position at the forefront of airborne AESA design.
- Develop a knowledge of critical supply chain elements and foster relations with key suppliers.
- Work with customers and suppliers to understand technologies and coordinate development activities to align with capabilities across sectors and product lines.
**Requirements:**
- Typically degree qualified in an engineering discipline.
- Typically meets the requirements for registration as a Chartered Engineer with the Engineering Council, and be an active member of a relevant Professional Body.
- Full SC (UK Eyes).
In addition to the above, it would be advantageous to have knowledge and practical design experience of some of the following:
- Work package management, including plans and estimates, scheduling and risk management processes.
- Previous experience in related technologies is preferred (RF/Microwave, Packaging, PCA design for example).
- Knowledge and experience of semiconductor wafer foundry processes and QFN component manufacture and test.
- Research and development of new technologies/tools/processes within design, development and manufacture for high reliability products.
- Technical support to sub-contracts and engineering interface with manufacturing.
