Job Title: Gynaecology Ward Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced nurse leader to join our team as a Gynaecology Ward Manager. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing strong leadership and management to our gynaecology ward, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses and healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care and services.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless care pathways and services.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring compliance with NHS policies and procedures.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Active registration with the NMC as a Registered Nurse.
  • Recognised nursing degree.
  • Compassionate leadership program or training completed.
  • Experience of managing or leading a team as band 6 or above in the NHS.
  • Knowledge or experience of change management, quality assurance processes, and working within a budget.
  • Evidence of development and evaluation of training resources.
  • Experience of working in gynaecology/women's health.
