Job Title: Gynaecology Ward Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gynaecology Ward Lead to join our team at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strong leadership and management to the gynaecology ward, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the gynaecology ward team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among staff members.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, safety, and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other departments and services to ensure seamless care delivery and coordination.
  • Monitor and evaluate the ward's performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
Requirements:
  • Active Registration with the NMC as a Registered Nurse.
  • Recognised Nursing degree.
  • Compassionate leadership program or training completed.
  • Experience of managing or leading a team as band 6 or above in the NHS.
  • Knowledge or experience of change management, quality assurance processes, and working within a budget.
