Job Summary:
The Health Economics Support in the Vaccines Value Evidence team is a global role that requires a senior Health Economist to support the team members in specific tasks and potentially lead the implementation of targeted projects and studies. The mission includes supporting strategic priorities of the team, such as active support during value evidence-related external engagements with NITAGs, public health institutions, other health authorities, or external experts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evidence generation, study management, and publication-related support
- Strategic and external engagement support
- Formulating country adaptations for specific Excel/R models, such as dynamic transmission models
- Providing proposals for further evidence generation, aligned with global and regional matrix team stakeholders
- Supporting the ongoing process or initiating targeted input data searches based on literature reviews (systematic and targeted)
- Supporting study protocol formulation for costing studies, outlining real-world database study analyses reports, contributing to patient-reported outcome study project management, or supporting in shorter tasks such as manuscript analyses and specific slide deck formulation for country support materials
- Organizing potential webinars, trainings, and supporting in preparation to and during external interactions (e.g., with NITAGs, public health institutions, other health authorities, or external experts)
Requirements:
- Senior Health Economist with more than 5 years of experience
- Experience in evidence generation
- Confidence with programming in R/Matlab as a plus
