**About the Job:**

Barnardo's is seeking a skilled and caring Residential Support Worker to join our team in Liverpool. As a residential support worker, you will provide direct care and support to vulnerable children and young people in our residential home, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met.

Job Description:**

In this role, you will be responsible for providing daily living support to young people, including assistance with personal care, meal preparation, and household management. You will also participate in developing and implementing individualized care plans that address the unique needs and goals of each young person.

As a member of our team, you will work closely with other professionals to ensure the smooth operation of our residential home. This includes collaborating with other team members to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment that promotes social skills, emotional well-being, and personal growth.

Responsibilities:**

  • Provide daily living support to young people, including assistance with personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
  • Participate in developing and implementing individualized care plans that address the unique needs and goals of each young person.
  • Collaborate with other team members to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment that promotes social skills, emotional well-being, and personal growth.
  • Contribute to maintaining accurate records and reports, as required.

Requirements:**

  • Degree or diploma in a relevant field (e.g., social work, child and youth care, education).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with vulnerable populations, preferably in a residential setting.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Physical stamina to meet the demands of a residential setting.

Salary and Benefits:**

The salary range for this position is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. Barnardo's offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
