Project Controls Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Manager to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As a Project Controls Manager, you will be responsible for leading cross-discipline teams of project controls professionals to deliver effective, consistent, and assured project controls services to our clients across diverse and complex programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive continuous improvement in project controls processes to create efficiency and increase benefits to our clients.
- Define and implement project controls approaches across the project, programme, and portfolio levels, allowing effective decision-making at all levels.
- Develop and implement effective governance and assurance processes around project controls products.
- Work with clients to develop relevant breakdown structures and support scope definitions.
- Define scaled, tailored, and integrated approaches for project controls and document these.
- Manage the scope through the identification and management of exclusions, assumptions, interfaces, and dependencies, and coordinate the scope's decomposition.
- Work with the Integrated Project Team to establish a robust, accurate Performance Measurement Baseline and manage the change control process.
- Collaborate with Project and Commercial Management to establish the Supplier Project Controls contract requirements and integrate and analyze supplier performance data.
- Ensure scope, cost, risk, and schedule integration and alignment, and analyze performance data to provide delivery insight and facilitate delivery decisions.
- Train and coach clients and less experienced team members on performance and reporting management processes and practices.
- Assure the quality, accuracy, and integrity of the Project Controls team's output.
- Undertake line management activities, including career development and performance management.
Requirements:
- Experience in the application of several Project Controls disciplines (Planning, Cost Estimation, Cost Management, Risk Management, or Reporting) in multiple projects.
- Practical experience of integrating Project Controls disciplines and the ability to assess the maturity of a team and ways of working.
- Experience in managing stakeholders.
- Experience in using some Project Controls software (Primavera P6, Active Risk Manager, Ecosys, etc.).
