Electrical Maintenance and Repair

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Depot Electrician / Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems and equipment within our depot and other facilities.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our electrical systems, including routine maintenance checks, troubleshooting, and repair of faulty equipment. You will also be responsible for installing, inspecting, and testing electrical equipment and systems in accordance with safety guidelines and regulatory requirements.

General Maintenance and Engineering Support

In addition to electrical maintenance and repair, you will provide general maintenance and engineering support to our depot infrastructure, including lighting, power supplies, and general building maintenance. You will also assist with depot projects, upgrades, and installations where electrical expertise is required.

Health & Safety Compliance

You will be responsible for adhering to all Health & Safety policies, ensuring electrical work complies with industry standards and regulatory requirements. This includes ensuring the safe operation of all equipment and systems by following risk assessments, safety procedures, and relevant legislation.

Documentation and Reporting

You will maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including electrical tests, repairs, and installations. You will also complete maintenance logs, work orders, and service reports on a daily basis to ensure compliance with company policies.

Collaborative Work

You will work alongside other maintenance engineers, depot staff, and external contractors to ensure timely and efficient repairs and installations.
