Job Title: Depot Electrician / Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Depot Electrician / Maintenance Engineer to join our team at CV Library. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems and equipment within our depot and other facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on electrical systems, wiring, and machinery in line with company standards and regulations.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and repair faulty equipment promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Install, inspect, and test electrical equipment and systems in accordance with safety guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on non-electrical systems and equipment, such as mechanical systems, heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and plumbing.
  • Assist with depot infrastructure repairs, including lighting, power supplies, and general building maintenance.
  • Support the implementation of depot projects, upgrades, and installations where electrical expertise is required.
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety policies, ensuring electrical work complies with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including electrical tests, repairs, and installations.
Requirements:
  • Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification.
  • Certified in PAT Testing (Portable Appliance Testing).
  • Proven experience in electrical maintenance, repair, and installation, ideally within a depot or industrial environment.
  • Experience with diagnosing electrical faults and carrying out preventative maintenance.
  • Experience with general mechanical and facilities maintenance is desirable.
