We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer - Mechanical Assembly Specialist to join our team at Energy Jobline. Key Responsibilities- Supplier Management: Ensure that our manufacturing suppliers continue to meet our requirements and standards.
- Technical Support: Provide regular and frequent communication with our manufacturing suppliers and internal teams to support problem-solving, improvement initiatives, and technical queries.
- Qualification Processes: Manage the technical qualification processes for our manufacturing suppliers, including internal and customer audits.
- Performance Monitoring: Coordinate and monitor the performance of our manufacturing suppliers, including key performance indicators and assistance in achieving performance objectives.
- Non-Conformance and Concession Requests: Participate in non-conformance and concession request processes, including investigation, corrective, and preventive actions, in cooperation with our Quality, Engineering, Technical, and HSE departments.
- Manufacturing Process Optimization: Collaborate with our manufacturing suppliers and internal teams to optimize manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.
- Education: A degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in manufacturing or engineering-related roles in the oil and gas industry, preferably in well completions equipment manufacturing.
- Skills and Knowledge: Strong background and experience in manufacturing processes, process and equipment optimization, project management, and engineering or manufacturing in the oil and gas industry. Familiarity with oil and gas industry standards, such as ISO, API, ASME, ASTM, and NACE. Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to manufacturing operations.
- Travel: Willingness to travel globally for support of manufacturing locations.
- Short-Term Incentive: An annual Short-Term Incentive (discretionary bonus) of a maximum of 1 month's salary.
- Annual Leave: 29 days annual leave (inclusive of public holidays) + 4 public holidays fixed at Christmas and New Year.
- Medical and Dental Benefits: Post-probation, if chosen to join.
- Paid Sick Leave: Post-probation, income protection, and life assurance.
- Pension: A minimum 5% contribution from both employee and employer, and we will match up to 7%.
