Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at MLK Education Search, located in West Drayton, London.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assess students' needs and develop tailored therapy programs to address physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges.
  2. Liaise with teachers and support staff to ensure seamless integration of occupational therapy into daily school operations.
  3. Maintain accurate records of student progress, including assessment results, treatment plans, and intervention outcomes.
  4. Collaborate with families to ensure they understand their child's therapy goals, progress, and strategies for continued growth at home.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, families, and colleagues.
  • Experience working with children with diverse needs, preferably in a school setting.
  • An understanding of current best practices in occupational therapy and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience), based on industry standards and location.
