Red The Consultancy is seeking a dedicated HSE Management Expert to join their team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Safety and Compliance Officer to work with our client, providing expert advice on health, safety, and environmental matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and Improve HSE Performance: Identify areas for improvement and develop effective strategies to enhance HSE performance, ensuring compliance with international regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with all members of the Operations, ship, and shore teams to ensure effective monitoring and implementation of the management system.
  • Develop and Implement HSE Training: Create and deliver comprehensive HSE training programs, ensuring that all stakeholders understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 per annum

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent knowledge of international maritime regulations, statutory requirements, and maritime safety codes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and propose improvements.
  • Proven experience in marine industry HSE practices, marine incident investigation, and auditing.
