Job Title: Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Ty Llandaff Care Home. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

About Ty Llandaff Care Home

Our luxury care home is situated in Portcanna, Cardiff, and offers Nursing & Residential care for 69 residents. We pride ourselves on creating a warm and welcoming environment, where our residents can thrive and live their lives to the fullest.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Assist with meal times and ensure residents' dietary needs are met
  • Participate in activities and events that promote social interaction and engagement
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure residents' needs are met
Requirements

We are looking for a Care Assistant with a Level 2 in Health & Social Care, with at least one year of experience working within an elderly care home. You will be a team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also be able to work flexibly, including night shifts.
