Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Registered Extra Care Manager to lead the operational management and day-to-day running of a high-quality extra care setting for older adults in the Rugby area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering a quality care service, ensuring viability, and promoting person-centered care and support to meet the needs of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on the delivery of a quality care service, ensuring viability and promoting person-centered care and support to meet the needs of residents.
- Ensure that the care quality commission essential standards are met and that the highest level of customer service is provided.
- Collaborate with the housing provider, local authority, and stakeholders to promote a positive atmosphere within the setting while encouraging social interaction and reducing isolation.
- Supervise and manage a small team, ideally within an organization providing social care and/or social housing.
- Experience in housing management and maintenance, housing aid and advice, and working in a multi-disciplinary team.
Requirements:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care or equivalent (essential qualification or must be willing to undertake this qualification on appointment to the role).
- Significant experience, skills, and knowledge in one or more of the following areas: services for older people, residential day or community services for older people, extra care or home care services for older people, prevention or re-enablement services for older people.
