Job Title: Assistant Manager - Domiciliary Care

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at The Care Bureau. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our domiciliary care branch, supporting our field care supervisors, carers, and office staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring all care calls are covered by the most appropriate staff.
  • Carry out new client care assessments and develop Care Plans.
  • Complete regular reviews with Clients and their relatives, Social Workers, and other Health Professionals involved in their Care.
  • Complete Staff probation meetings, appraisals, and supervisions.
  • Assist with the recruitment of new care staff and help them through the induction process.
  • Maintain Professional relationships between other Health and Social Care professionals.
  • Cover care calls if required.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed in line with company policy and current regulations.
  • Participate in on-call duties.

Requirements:

  • Supervisory experience within a domiciliary care environment.
  • Hold an NVQ/ QCF Diploma level 3 in Health and Social.
  • Be willing to work towards Level 5 in Adult Care Leadership and Management.
  • Excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude.
  • Full UK driving license and use of your own car.
