We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at The Care Bureau, a leading provider of domiciliary care services in Northamptonshire.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our branch, working closely with our Registered Manager to deliver an excellent service to our clients.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the branch, supporting field care supervisors, carers, and office staff.
  • Ensuring all care calls are covered by the most appropriate staff.
  • Carrying out new client care assessments and developing Care Plans.
  • Completing regular reviews with Clients and their relatives, Social Workers, and other Health Professionals involved in their Care.
  • Completing Staff, probation meetings, appraisals, and supervisions.
  • Assisting with the recruitment of new care staff and helping them through the induction process.
  • Maintaining Professional relationships between other Health and Social Care professionals.
  • Cover care calls if required.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed in line with company policy and current regulations.
  • Participate in on-call duties.

  • An NVQ/QCF Diploma level 3 in Health and Social Care.
  • A willingness to work towards Level 5 in Adult Care Leadership and Management.
  • Excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude.
