Job Title: Test Fitter

Celeros Flow Technology is seeking a skilled Test Fitter to join our team. As a Test Fitter, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, testing, and dismantling pumps for Original Equipment and Aftermarket orders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation of pumps and ancillary equipment, including setting out and securing temporary foundations, pipework installation, and rotor alignment.
  • Participating in operational tests by controlling various aspects of the test parameters, such as temperatures and pressures.
  • Highlighting any non-conformances and working with others to ensure issues are resolved.
  • Breaking down temporary test arrangements and storing equipment away as per departmental procedures.
  • Performing maintenance activities on test department equipment to ensure maximum reliability and availability.
  • Participating in continuous improvement activities to assist the company in improving safety, driving down costs, and increasing productivity.
Requirements:
  • Time served Mechanical Fitter with at least 3 years relevant experience, preferably in a heavy manufacturing environment.
  • A challenging attitude and safety mindset to manage risks within the test environment.
  • Experience with rotating equipment and laser alignment would be advantageous.
  • An understanding and experience of lean manufacturing techniques.
  • Demonstratable experience of working within a team to execute tasks in a timely manner to achieve goals under tight timeframes.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbally.
  • Ability to undertake National Security Vetting and obtain security clearance up to SC level.
