Job Summary

Celeros Flow Technology is seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our Test Department. As a Pump Test Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and testing of pumps in our state-of-the-art test facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation of pumps and ancillary equipment for testing purposes
  • Participating in operational tests by controlling test parameters such as temperatures and pressures
  • Highlighting non-conformances and working with others to resolve issues
  • Breaking down temporary test arrangements and storing equipment away
  • Performing maintenance activities on test department equipment
  • Participating in continuous improvement activities to improve safety, drive down costs, and increase productivity

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of types of testing, test set-ups, and associated equipment used during pump performance testing
  • Time served Mechanical Fitter with at least 3 years' relevant industry experience, preferably with rotating equipment in a heavy manufacturing environment
  • Understanding and experience of lean manufacturing techniques
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbally
