Health Services Research Project Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to work on a project evaluating an approach to supporting individuals from ethnic minority communities with dementia.

This postdoctoral position is funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research and offers a chance to contribute to research excellence at The University of Wolverhampton.

About the Role
  • To coordinate research activities, including recruitment, data collection, and analysis, with the project team.
  • To assist in developing study materials and applying for ethical approval.
  • To provide administrative support for the project, including scheduling interviews and workshops and responding to inquiries.
  • To undertake relevant training to ensure effective role performance.
  • To contribute to report writing and dissemination activities, such as publishing in peer-reviewed journals.
  • To ensure adherence to research governance standards for data protection and storage.
  • To engage with the Centre for Applied and Inclusive Health Research's activities, including attending research meetings and presenting seminars.
  • To assist with teaching on Postgraduate Research modules.
Key Qualifications
  • PhD in a relevant field (e.g., Health, Social Sciences, Psychology) or equivalent.
  • Experience in conducting research in social care settings.
  • Expertise in qualitative data collection and analysis.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
