Postdoctoral Research Associate Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced researcher to join our interdisciplinary team working on an innovative project focused on improving dementia support for ethnic minority communities.

Funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research, this project offers a unique chance to contribute to research excellence at The University of Wolverhampton.

About the Role
  • To collaborate with the project team in conducting research activities, including recruitment, data collection, and analysis.
  • To assist in developing study materials and applying for ethical approval.
  • To provide day-to-day management support for the project, including planning interviews and workshops and responding to inquiries.
  • To undertake relevant training as required to ensure role fulfillment.
  • To contribute to report writing and dissemination activities, such as peer-reviewed publications.
  • To ensure compliance with research governance standards regarding data confidentiality and storage.
  • To engage with the Centre for Applied and Inclusive Health Research's activities, including attending research meetings and delivering seminars.
  • To assist with teaching on Postgraduate Research modules.
Requirements
  • PhD in a relevant field (e.g., Health, Social Sciences, Psychology) or equivalent.
  • Experience in conducting research in social care settings.
  • Qualitative data collection and analysis expertise.
  • Ability to manage a busy project, own workload, and meet deadlines.
What We Offer

The estimated salary range is $45,000 - $55,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
