Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Transport Support Coordinator to provide administrative support for our traffic teams. This role ensures the accurate flow of information throughout traffic and warehousing operations, escalating issues as necessary. The successful candidate will have extensive contact with external customers, answering queries and providing up-to-date delivery information.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all traffic and warehousing operations are undertaken in line with company operating procedures
  • Support the on-the-road management of the traffic operation through communication and guidance
  • Complete all required administrative tasks in line with company requirements
  • Deal with customer/driver enquiries in a polite and effective manner
  • Ensure service level targets and KPIs are achieved by maximising fleet utilisation
  • Be IT literate, with a high competence in Excel
  • Deal with and escalate service complaints to ensure effective resolution for the customer and protect the company image and brand
  • Have knowledge of warehousing operations

Requirements:
It would be preferred that you have previous experience of working in traffic, warehousing or logistics operations and can demonstrate good local geographical knowledge.
