About the RoleWe're seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Research Nurse to join our team at our Synexus Clinical Research site in Birmingham, United Kingdom. As a key member of our Nursing team, you'll be responsible for ensuring a continuity of care for patients during clinical trials.
Key Responsibilities- Completing all relevant clinical competency training assessments and attending research study protocol training
- Performing visits, observations, safety reporting, and interventions with participants in accordance with procedures and schedule
- Carrying out pre-screens efficiently and effectively to optimize patient recruitment
- Encouraging patients to continue within the study and participate in future trials
- Collecting, recording, verifying, and entering study data into source notes, CRF/eCRF, and associated paperwork
- Ensuring data queries are acted upon in a timely and efficient manner
- Promoting a welcoming, professional, and pleasant environment for staff and participants
- Participating in multidisciplinary meetings and initiating emergency action when required
- A qualified Nurse with registration with no limitations to practice within the Nursing and Midwifery Council (Adult)
- A passion for the Clinical Research industry
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work in a cross-functional team
- A patient-focused attitude
