About the RoleWe're seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Research Nurse to join our Synexus Clinical Research site in Birmingham, UK. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for nursing activities related to clinical trials across various therapeutic areas.
Key Responsibilities- Complete clinical competency training assessments and attend research study protocol training to ensure compliance with Synexus COPs/SOPs.
- Perform visits, observations, safety reporting, and interventions with participants in accordance with study protocols, company SOPs, and policies.
- Efficiently and effectively conduct pre-screens to optimize patient recruitment.
- Encourage patients to continue within the study and participate in future trials.
- Collect, record, verify, and enter study data into source notes, CRF/eCRF, and associated paperwork with high accuracy.
- Ensure timely and efficient resolution of data queries.
- Promote a welcoming, professional, and pleasant environment for staff and participants.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and initiate emergency actions when required.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you'll need:
- A qualified Nurse registration with no limitations to practice within the Nursing and Midwifery Council (Adult).
- A passion for the Clinical Research industry.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work in a cross-functional team.
- A patient-focused attitude.
