About the RoleWe're seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Research Nurse to join our team at our Synexus Clinical Research site in Birmingham, United Kingdom. As a key member of our Nursing team, you'll be responsible for nursing activities related to clinical trials across a wide range of therapeutic areas.
Key Responsibilities- Complete all relevant clinical competency training assessments and attend research study protocol training.
- Perform visits, observations, safety reporting, and interventions with participants in accordance with procedures and schedule.
- Carry out pre-screens efficiently and effectively to optimize patient recruitment.
- Encourage patients to continue within the study and participate in future trials.
- Collect, record, and enter study data into source notes, CRF/eCRF, and associated paperwork with high accuracy.
- Ensure timely and efficient resolution of data queries.
- Promote a welcoming, professional, and pleasant environment for staff and participants.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and initiate emergency action when required.
- A qualified Nurse with registration with no limitations to practice within the Nursing and Midwifery Council (Adult).
- A passion for the Clinical Research industry.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work in a cross-functional team.
- A patient-focused attitude.
