Elderly Care Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Nurse Leader to provide high-quality care to elderly patients in the Newtownabbey area. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the physical and emotional well-being of our residents, including supporting the Nurse Manager and adhering to RQIA standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver excellent care and support to elderly patients, prioritizing their dignity, respect, and independence.
- Administer medication, monitor vital signs, and perform routine medical procedures as required.
- Develop and manage patient care plans, ensuring regular reviews and updates.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families, helping them cope with aging and illness challenges.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring secure storage and confidentiality.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and guidelines at all times.
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin.
- Previous experience working in a nursing home environment.
- Proven Deputy Manager experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and on own initiative.
- Good organizational skills, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and guidelines.
