We are seeking an experienced Office Transport Coordinator to join our team at MP Recruitment. As a key member of our office team, you will provide administrative support to our Transport Manager and assist with the coordination of our transport operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Update and record holiday requisitions and enter Weekly Agency Timesheets.
- Raise Purchase Orders for various departments and monitor Stock Room levels.
- Handle telephone and email queries.
- Update weekly transport and despatch schedules in Excel.
- Liaise with existing customers to manage transport bookings and requirements.
- Liaise with our transport fleet and 3rd party providers.
- Manage and track all fleet, 3rd party and fuel costs.
- Participate in transport spend tracking and internal reporting.
- 2-year minimum experience in an office and basic account (PL & SL).
- Experience within an accounts office is an advantage.
- Intermediate Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Strong communication both orally and in writing, with an excellent telephone manner.
- Ability to multitask, working on your own initiative with minimal supervision and having a conscientious and thorough approach to work.
- Flexible approach to work and willingness to undertake varied responsibilities, working alone or as part of a team.
Full-time hours per week, 08:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday (0.5 hour for lunch). Office-based only.
