We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team at Marlborough Highways. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of our highway projects, ensuring that we deliver high-quality services to our clients while maintaining a strong focus on profitability.

About the Role:

  • Manage the commercial aspects of highway projects, including tendering, contract administration, and final account settlement.
  • Provide expert advice on contract law, NEC contracts, and other relevant matters to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Liaise with external partners, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation to support project progress and contractual obligations.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in the highways sector.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC contracts, contract law, and construction industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
