Job Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Lead and manage the design of highways and public realm projects.
- Client Engagement: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients.
- Technical Excellence: Develop technically sound design solutions for urban transport and public realm challenges.
- Mentorship: Mentor and lead a team of up to 6 people, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Project Delivery: Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources.
Essential Requirements:
- Detailed Design Expertise: Produce high-quality design documents, technical drawings, and plans for highways and public realm projects.
- Cycleway and Active Transport Infrastructure: Design and implement cycleways, pedestrian pathways, and other active transport infrastructure.
- Public Realm Design Skills: Show an understanding of spatial planning, user accessibility, and aesthetic considerations in urban spaces.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in relevant design software and solid understanding of design standards such as DMRB and Manual for Streets.
