About the Role

The Behaviour Support Worker will be responsible for providing support to pupils with complex behavioural and communication needs in a special school setting. The successful candidate will work closely with the Behaviour team to deliver interventions and support the Lead BSW with the organisation of systems across the site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver behaviour interventions to small groups of pupils
  • Support the Lead BSW with the organisation of systems across the site
  • Work closely with the Behaviour team to provide support to pupils with complex behavioural and communication needs
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Teaching and Learning or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working with vulnerable pupils with complex behavioural and communication needs
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
