Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer to join our team at Adepto Technical Recruitment Ltd. As a Senior E&I Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the Site Services E/I team and ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the plants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Site Services E/I team and be responsible for all statutory and codal engineering responsibilities for an asset/area.
  • Lead the Site Services electrical, control, and instrumentation asset management across Runcorn Site(s) to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the plants.
  • Develop and implement maintenance management strategies to minimize downtime and optimize plant performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, including BS EN 61511 lifecycle, DSEAR, and EAWR.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree with a minimum of 10 years' post-graduate experience.
  • Engineering chartership or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience of E/I engineering on a Chemical production unit.
  • Detailed knowledge and experience of BS EN 61511 lifecycle, DSEAR, and EAWR.
  • People management skills.
  • Maintenance management skills.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary of £60-70K per annum, dependent on experience.
  • 36 hours per week.
  • 25 holidays plus 8 Bank Holidays.
  • Holiday bonus option of either 36 hours' extra holiday or a 2% bonus based on annual basic salary.
